Dayton,OH

Summary

Graduate student in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Design & Manufacturing. Proficient in utilizing industry-leading design software, such as AutoCAD, CATIA, and SolidWorks to develop precise 3D models, detailed drawings, and simulations. Experienced in performing advanced simulations and analysis, including finite element analysis (FEA), to validate design integrity, optimize performance, and ensure product reliability. Experience in MATLAB Simulink testing and validation, designing and implementing HiL test environments.

Work History

Intern- HiL Validation Engineer

BrightSharks
  • Performed automated HiL testing for the models using dSpace (Scalexio)
  • Test cases and performed system-level validation to verify the system behavior, analyze performance, and identify potential issues
  • Developed a test suite for Model-in-Loop testing automation using MATLAB as the scripting language

Design and Structural Verification of FSAE Car

FSAE Project
  • Designed and tested the structural integrity of the chassis by varying load paths using different triangulation
  • Developed the chassis to accommodate the sub-components of the car to satisfy the goals of high rolling resistance and high-speed stability
  • Achieved better FOS in structural, torsional, and harmonic strengths of chassis without increasing the weight of the chassis comparatively
  • Fabricated temporary jigs and fixtures systems using GD&T principles for increasing the weld quality of chassis
  • Developed DFMEA, RCA, and BOM documents for the entire FSAE car assembly

Powertrain Design and CFD Validation

FSAE Project
  • Developed an air-intake manifold for Yamaha YZF-R6 four-cylinder engine to minimize the turbulence and pressure losses due to an additional restrictor. (Restrictor is mandatory to satisfy FSAE rules)
  • Evaluated the performance of the intake manifold using CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) methods in CAA software.
  • Designed and manufactured body panels of the car using glass-fiber resin composites to achieve better aerodynamic efficiency and minimize weight.

Electric Kart Development and Testing

Academic Projects
  • Worked as a lead in designing and developing an electric kart for formula student competition.
  • Desgined a tubular-space frame chassis, performed the requirements and sizing of a single-speed BLDC motor
    and lithium-ion battery pack powertrain.
  • Experimented an electromagnetic braking system intended to work both as main and secondary braking system
and integrated it to the kart.

Project Management

Academic Project

• Coordinated project management skills SWOT analysis, Stakeholder analysis, PERT chart, WBS and risk analysis for the Plagiarism game project.
