• Supported Scouting for food event through bag drop off and collection of >700 bags equating to ~5,000 lbs of food delivered to local non-profit organization/ yearly.
• Successfully doubled girl enrollment in the pack by implementing inclusive strategies and fostering an environment that encourages diversity and engagement.

Scouts BSA- Pack 374 Den Leader | 2021-present

• Lead, teach and encourage scouts through outdoor activities as they build character, train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship and develop personal fitness aligned with scouting program. Fostered individual growth through application of scouting principles and values across ~20 scouts/year.
• Using outdoors as a laboratory, teach scouts about ecology, practice conservation of natures resources, leadership and teamwork that serve as valuable lifelong lessons. Created lesson plans adhering to BSA Youth Protection Guidelines and requirements.
• Organize and led hiking events averaging ~30 participants/ occasion and completed BSA Safe Swim Defense & Hazardous Weather training.

Adirondack Mountain Club – Trails Committee Co-Chair and Executive Committee Member | 2012-2013
