General Overview:
Using your whole body, pick cases of wholesale goods contained on the floor and shelves, onto pallets, which will then be shipped to various Kroger stores. 95% of the time, stacks of product reach over 7ft high.
Skills exemplified and attained:
1. My high levels of creativity and spatial awareness enabled me to perform not quantitatively, but qualitatively. I consistently went above and beyond to create product (pallets of stacked cases) least prone to damage, and most easily manageable.
2. Developed steadfastness due to the physical demands of the job. Performed approximately 900 lunges, walked approximately 8 miles, and climbed roughly 2 miles per 10-hour shift. Extremely monotonous in body, creatively demanding in mind.
3. Fostered communal work environment by demonstrating effective work procedures to fellow coworkers. Always gave and received advice on how to do the job well.
