Planned, integrated, synchronized, coordinated, and assessed information to support Operations Allies Refuge. Served as sole certified Psychological Operations asset for Task Force (TF) Spartan. Advised senior leaders on socio-cultural considerations for information operations. Cultivated strong relationships with DOD and interagency partners to maintain open communication channels and address issues promptly. Analyzed operational data to identify trends, patterns, or anomalies that required further investigation or action. Collaborated with interagency partners to optimize processes during refugee integration.

  • Served as Deputy for Information Operations Cell, 35th Infantry Division in support of USCENTCOM (Forward).
  • Prepared and delivered weekly briefs at USCENTCOM forward to senior field grade officers, general officers, and senior executives on operational activities, situation reports, actions to be completed, and issues or requests.
  • Provided routine and ad hoc briefings on current and future information operations to DOD senior field grade officers (0-7) and interagency executives: DoS(SES) CARE Team Doha, U.S. Embassy Staff (Qatar), FBI, DHS. Additionally supported various interagency working groups.
  • Provided request of work and oversight for assigned contractors timecards and status tracking.

Key accomplishments:

  • Supported the processing, integration, and onward movement of over 20,000 Afghan refugees through CENTCOM safe haven in support of Operation Allies Refuge, the largest non-combatant evacuation operation in U.S. history.
  • Developed Task Force Liberty Psychological Operations outreach program for the Afghan community in support of Operation Allies Refuge. The program was designed to facilitate integration and support mental and physical well-being of refugees. Personally provided more than 200 hours of community engagement planning and support to various activities over 10 months.

Managed activities in the COIC for Task Force (TF) Spartan Shield. Focal point for coordinating, battle tacking, and accountability for 5,700 personnel and equipment spread over seven countries throughout the Central Command (USCENTCOM) area of operations. Ensured required resources and equipment were available to all subordinate commands. Oversaw communications security changeover and distribution. Maintained common operating picture and analog products for the division command group.

  • Served as Deputy of Current Operations (G33), USCENTOM (Forward), 29th Infantry Division.
  • Oversaw and maintained situational awareness of operational platforms, battle tracking of personnel and equipment, and managed all aesthetic reporting, and creation of new formatting applications for common operations picture (COP) within USCENTCOM (forward) AOR.
  • Prepared and standardized reporting formats across task force for all current operational tracking.
  • Prepared and delivered daily and weekly briefings (in-person or virtual) on current operational status to task force commander (Army MG, O8), his deputy (Army BG, O7), and command staff

Key accomplishments:

  • Oversaw the movement and transition of over 2,000 U.S. personnel and 120,000 Afghan refugees during named operation for withdrawal from Afghanistan. Provided key data which aided in portraying accurate and timely tracking of all units deploying into and retrograding from Afghanistan.
  • Streamlined and enhanced key briefing materials for Joint Chiefs and other DoD key leaders in support of Operation Allies Refuge. Developed tool to automate reporting on key data points of interest which expedited and simplified timely reporting by subordinate units.

This information aided the Battalion Commander and his staff when planning and executing tactical exercises and combat operations.
