I have a very diverse background involving the use of heavy equipment in several different situations. I am always looking forward to a new challenge and learning new things every day.
My duty in Morenci was mostly being a versatile general all around operator. I was part of a experimental 3 person crew to regrade and make haul roads beautiful. I was also in charge of the transportation of equipment all around the mine with a enormous lowboy truck.
My role in Bagdad was mostly maintaining haul roads with motor graders and instructing new operators on the good safe practices of operating motor graders on haul roads. I later transferred to a crew building a taillings dam expansion project.
Being new to the company and this role I learned how the business works and shortly after was helping new operators safely manage stockpiles with heavy track dozers. This eventually led to myself and 6 others being sent to Tinaja Hills training center where we became certified on equipment through Caterpillar.
My primary duty was driving a commercial truck with double belly dump trailers full of calcium powder from Wilcox Arizona to Casa Grande. I also performed repairs and maintenance on our small fleet of tractor trailers.
I was part of a repaving project in Roswell New Mexico. My only duty with this company was transporting asphalt from our hot plant to the lay down machine.
I had a variety of different roles: inspecting and maintaining bridges, fabricating and placing cattle guards, cleaning and repairing cattle guards, I drove a pot hole patching truck and maintained dirt roads with a variety of equipment.
I was the track dozer operator on a variety of construction projects in the Tyrone mine. I was mostly pioneering roads and building pads to park exploration drills.
In this role I assisted Tuscon electric power using a variety of heavy equipment in day to day operations. My main two duties included transporting fly ash from the power plant to the ash burial pit. My other role was managing the stockpile of coal with a Heavy track dozer.
