I have been an entertainment journalist and content creator for thirteen years. I have a passion for entertainment media with a focus on music, sports and politics in addition to an unending desire to be knowledgeable and well-informed about the culture via personal research and professional relationships. My work at Bossip has helped bring a level of notoriety and prestige to the site by writing consistently viral headlines and leveraging that popularity with my high-profile contacts. My work has been featured in the New York Times, Fader, Wired, BET, VH1, WETv, Netflix (Dear White People), podcasts and numerous radio stations across the U.S. My experience in these arenas has prepared me for greater challenges on bigger platforms.
In my first stint as a freelance content contributor for Revolt's social media platforms (mainly Twitter and Instagram), I was tasked with creating bold and resolute content surrounding race and social justice.
In my second stint as a content contributor, I was the leading voice for a Black History Month social media campaign with an emphasis on Afro-futurism and historical reimagining.
As Digital Producer for Tha God's Honest Truth, I was responsible for producing the original and entertaining digital content with celebrity guests, assessing the value of show clips for service to social media, and copywriting/developing the show's voice online.
