Before leaving Bethel AK, i had a phone interview with PCH and accepted a job as an emergency room RN. I have been asked several times to be a house supervisor full time, which i have declined but I do fill in on an as needed basis. I work as an ER nurse and charge nurse.

My plan was to return to Bethel once my child was better. I returned in March of 2019, Staff and MD's were happy I was back. Sadly, I was only there for 2 months due to a housing shortage. The new hospital was complete and there was no housing for my family of 6. After looking for a home for 2 months, my hospital housing expired and to the displeasure of the staff, my family and i had to leave

I had worked at a CHS hospital in Palmer AK that advised me to transfer to a CHS hospital in the lower 48. I interviewed and had a choice of jobs. An ER Charge Rn or House Supervisor. I chose the house supervisor role, I took on duties of house supervisor in a facility I had never worked before, I even was on duty and in charge of a disaster where a major carbon monoxide leak occurred and had to evacuate our 9 bed ICU that was full and had 8 vented patients that night. I was later asked to be the director of the Med/Tele unit. About 2 months into being the director, I was asked to be the interim director of the Step sown unit as well. Which i gladly did.

After spending 4 years in Bethel, the last of which I traveled back and forth to St Jude's due to a child's diagnosis of cancer, my family and I decided to move back to the road system. I gat a job at Mat-Su in the ER where i started being a charge RN with in 4 months. We left suddenly in May of 2018 due to child;s cancer returning.

Began work in a rural Indian Health hospital as an ER RN. After working as a traveler, the administration asked if I would think about working as a full time RN. I stated in October of 2013 and by the end of that year, I became a charge nurse in the ER

• Administered different therapies and medications in line with physician orders and treatment plan.
• Assisted patients dealing with traumatic injuries or illnesses, including stroke patients, accident victims and cardiac patients.

Worked in the emergency room in Bethel AK. Worked to care for a diverse population of patients that presented with numerous emergencies or daily clinic concerns. Cared for a wide range of patients ranging in age from newborns to geriatrics. A large percentage of the patients cared for were pediatric patients.

• Planned, prioritized and provided nursing care by applying advanced specialty clinical nursing knowledge and skills to support comfort and safety of patients and families.
• Assembled equipment and supplies for diagnostic or treatment procedures in specialty service areas.
• Educated patients and answered questions about health condition, prognosis and treatment.

My duties as a float pool RN was to work areas as needed. I mainly worked in ICU, ER, Tele and Med/Surg. I worked as a float pool RN until promoted to night House Supervisor in 2006. As House Supervisor my duties involved being able to manage whatever problems arose during the night shift as I was the only personnel in management at the hospital, In October 2009, I became manager of Telemetry services. I was responsible for managing a very busy cardiac telemetry and post CABG unit. I was managing around 60 employees and had 51 patients between the two units. In August of 2011, I stepped down as manager to become a float pool RN again to spend more time with my family.

Worked as an RN in a clinic inside a federal prison. Duties included signing up patients for Dr. appointments, giving medicines to inmates, conducting disaster drills, and filling in as a guard as needed.

Worked in a very busy ER that saw over 250 patients per day. Duties included working as trauma nurse, code nurse, psych nurse and minor care nurse.

Started RN career in Oakdale as an ICU RN. Small 3 bed unit that was closed many days due to no patients. Worked as charge nurse on Med/Surge unit.
