Eagle Scout

The Eagle Scout award is the highest award given to a Scout. I had to show plentiful knowledge of important life skills such as First Aid and Wilderness Survival. I also had to show exemplary leadership ability through leading different sized groups for an extended period of time. I finally had to lead a group of people through constructing a project that benefited another organization. For my Eagle Project I built four owl boxes for the California Raptor center. I started by approaching the Raptor Center to see what they needed help with.  We came up with some plans together on what they wanted the boxes to look like, function, and color. I took those home and made a tiny model and brought it back to them to see if they liked it. We made some changes and I bought the supplies for the first box. I brought that  first box to the Raptor Center to which they approved. I was now set to build the rest of the boxes. I bought the supplies for three more boxes and over the span of three work days my friends, fellow scouts, and even some cub scouts, and I build the Owl boxes. I finally delivered all the boxes to the Raptor Center and I was done with the project. I now just needed to go through an Eagle Board of Review on April 8, 2024, where three adult leaders form Davis interviewed me on my scouting career and then I was awarded my Eagle at a Eagle Court oh Honor on May 11, 2024.
