Successfully proposed a contract modification with AFSOC senior leadership to fund quarterly travel between Cannon and Hurlburt Field Air Force Bases to provide on-site support. On-site inspection and system repairs led to engineering a secondary path between Hurlburt Field and Cannon Air Force Base to enable communications between the separate Jagwire RHEL systems. Rebalancing the Cisco EtherChannel configuration and repairing bad cabling between data center rack locations enabled a 35% improvement in bandwidth utilization and a 95% reduction in the time required for antivirus updates and system patching. Hurlburt Field went from only receiving patching every 2.5 months to receiving weekly updates. Quarterly visits improved utilization and facilitated training to ensure maximal operationalization of Jagwire to 60+ Jagwire system users.
