  • Running day to day operations for the Service Delivery team. Team includes 7 data center tech's and 2 shipping and receiving clerks.
  • Training all new hires for Service Delivery and Shipping. Setting up their phones, teaching them SNOW actions and training them to complete the necessary day to day functions in the building.
  • Reviewing and assigning all Service Delivery tickets to ensure a smooth work flow that aligns with customer needs and due dates.
  • Auditing Service Delivery tickets, not only to meet certain customer expectations, but making sure the team is meeting the IMDC standards on their installs.
  • Keeping all in house material stocked and accounted for. Ordering of all in house material for bulk fiber and jumper runs, cage build outs and all material our team needs for day to day operation.
  • Working with our Network team to resolve issues with our in house network. This includes troubleshooting our services offered such as DIA, but also maintaining and upgrading our building networks including our WiFi and our security teams gate and camera systems.
  • Working with our CSM's with their day to day needs and issues. This includes data center build out questions, network issues and helping with any data center questions they may have.
  • Working with our SNOW team. Correcting and maintaining customers CI's to ensure the customers side of the portal is true and accurate.
  • Coordinating with 3rd party vendors to ensure they are meeting IMDC standards while operating in the building. Meeting with 3rd party vendors to walk sub-out jobs and auditing their work performed.
  • Working directly with the customer for all minor needs and escalated issues. Gathering information for all issues, analyzing the issues and executing the appropriate steps to alleviate the issue.
  • Working hand in hand with my supervisor to act as a liaison between the team and management. This includes day to day meetings to discuss the health of the team. Resolving issues any of our techs may be having. Making sure the team is in the best position to succeed to keep a positive and healthy relationship between team members. Instilling the confidence in a team member through leadership, actively asking questions, listening and engaging in their responses.

Accomplishments

Since I have arrived at IMDC I have worked diligently with my manager to improve how Service Delivery operates on a daily basis. Working with the team to accomplish tasks in a more timely matter with more communication with the customer. These values has resulted in a big uptick in customers reaching out either through SNOW giving us excellent reviews, or via email to CSM's and building managers.

We worked with the SNOW team for a year auditing all cross connects to prepare for when we transferred all the AZP1 cross connects into SNOW creating the CI's for them. We also worked together for months getting all the IMDC DIA circuits in SNOW updated to reflect the correct DIA circuit ID's in the portal. I am proud of the work that was completed with between the SNOW team and our Service Delivery team.

We work very closely with the CSM team making ourselves available whenever needed. Working together we have accomplished resolving many customer issues resulting in a positive relationship with our customers. We have developed a strong relationship between our teams.

We also worked with our network team and the CSG team and upgraded all of our in house devices. Hundreds of cross connects were migrated to new devices with minimal customer impact due to our exceptional communication with both network teams.

Our Service Delivery has a high volume of daily tickets that come in, with very minimal SLA/OLA situations.
