Additional Information

I have worked on a Dual Diagnosis unit for almost eleven (11) years. I am experienced in both mental health and drug and alcohol addiction/detox nursing. Collaborating closely with physicians and treatment team to safely and effectively care for patient while monitoring vitals, administering detox medications and ordered tapers to assist in the safe detox of patient, while also taking steps to keep patient from going into complicated withdrawal or delirium tremors. I am responsible for assigning tasks and responsibilities for the nursing staff, as well as the milieu therapists to coordinate the best care for our patients on the unit. I consider myself a team player, and consider our staff and physician team as an incredible patient care centered unit. I would consider myself a valuable addition to your team in any needed role from staff RN to a supervisory role. I am very dependable and hard working and excel in patient care and collaboration with all staff in the organization.
