In the performance of my duties I designed fire alarm and detection systems for offices, warehouses, retail establishments, and energy storage facilities and included determining appropriate device mounting locations to meet code and local requirements, calculating battery requirements, voltage drop, and dB loss for voice evacuation systems.

Additionally, while in this role, I have designed the most complex and biggest fire alarm systems in the history of Allied Fire Protection to include multiple projects for the United States military and privately owned data centers.

Interests

Currently, my biggest hobby is in Amateur Radio (Ham) operations where I spend my free time communicating with other amateur radio operators across the globe As a part of this hobby, I am also a member of the nationally recognized Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) and Radio Amateur Communications Emergency Service (RACES) providing emergency communications during times of disaster and during large community events where cellular and public safety radio systems may become overwhelmed or non-functional or simply to be additional eyes and ears for first responders

I also enjoy putting my Firearms Technology degree to use by repairing firearms and building custom firearms
