Designing and engineering an electric vehicle charging station powered by two 100kW wind turbines for senior project. Worked in a team of 6 students to research, plan, and design a prototype charging system with 200kW total power capacity from renewable wind energy. The system included two DC fast chargers to enable rapid charging along with a battery storage unit to store excess energy. Conducted analysis to determine optimal turbine and battery sizes based on projected EV charging needs. The project demonstrated skills in electrical engineering design, project management, teamwork, and sustainability practices.
