● Part of an Acting Senior Program, supervising, reviewing case work that has been completed or is in progress, reviewing timesheets, approving time off requests, Oversee other assigned duties of the Senior Code Enforcement Officer that your covering for example (Reviewing parking tickets that have been contested in Anaheim Anytime system, respond/assign to Anaheim Anytime request, assisting the City of Anaheim graffiti removal contractor, assist public members that need to complete community service hours.

● Have trained seven new recruits and prepared performance evaluations.

● Assigned to various details over the past ten years ex. (Parking/Commercial Parking, NPDES, Building Permit, Quality Rental Housing Program, Area Officer, Rebuild Beach Boulevard).

● Conduct field investigations of violations and safety hazards on public and private property. Enter all details on a code enforcement case that would include field inspection notes, photos and notices issued.

● Respond to complaints regarding residential, commercial, and industrial properties.

● Prepare reports, citations, memos, and correspondence.

● Outline necessary corrections to achieve compliance with applicable codes, laws and regulations.

● Manage a high number of telephone calls and emails from residents explaining and interpreting the notice mailed and providing them with set deadlines for compliance follow ups. Notices issued are Courtesy Notice's, Civil Notice's, Notices of Violation, Civil Citation's, Notice to Appear, request to file a Criminal Complaint.

● Work with City Departments such as Public Works, Public Utilities, Building, Planning, Zoning, Police, Fire, Community Services and County of Orange staff to obtain compliance.

● Use programs such as Anaheim Anytime, Accela, Tidemark, Planning Info, Laserfich, Encuesta, Outlook, Word Documents, Excell Spreadsheets.

● Oversee playground equipment to ensure it is safe for use as per safety requirements.

● Know how to operate scooter, skip loader, tractor, large sit down mower, turf vacuum, edger, trimmer, chain saw, and other small hand tools.

● Checking levels of oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, air filters, oil filters, and other adjustments to equipment.

● Graffiti removal, emptying trash cans, litter removal and pick up, restocking restrooms, plant and trim trees, spray herbicides.

● Monitor groups using fields and picnic areas, steam clean picnic shelters/gazebos and restrooms as needed.

● Interact with the general public addressing issues, concerns, and questions.

● Renovate baseball diamonds and prepare baseball/softball fields.
