Processed more than 4,000 accessions waivers annually and contributed to the overall success of the Army National Guard and its accession mission. Developed and led training to 54 Recruiting and Retention Battalions across the nation, which enhanced the overall knowledge and effectiveness in executing waiver submissions by more than 4,800 recruiting and retention noncomissioned officers.
Served as primary instructor for more than 175 students annually regarding all matters of recruiting and retention. Used outgoing personality to connect with students on an interpersonal level that enhanced graduation rates, but also resulted in successful recruiters at the operational level. Qualified as instructor of the quarter on three occasions. Selected as Professional Education Center Instructor of the Year in 2019. Served as course developer and spearheaded major revision for the basic recruiter course. Successfully implemented doctrine and publications cell to oversee all policy construction and publishing between HQDA and National Guard Bureau, released to the 54 recruiting and retention battalions.
Achieved established goals to meet recruiting accession needs for the South Carolina Army National Guard. Collaborated with critical influencers and VIPs throughout the community to promote awareness of the Army National Guard and it's mission. Scheduled hundreds of qualified applicants to enroll in testing procedures for enlistment into the Army National Guard. Worked with 13 team members to streamline processing procedures, develop improved performance efforts designed to enhance mission success. Met or excelled in accessions mission goal each recruiting year. Served as the Senior Drill Sergeant during Recruit Sustainment. Delivered instruction to ensure future Soldiers were administratively and medically prepared to ship to basic combat training.
