Hi! My name is Jay, I am 36 years old, I am Transgender and I have a passion for helping other people. I have been an activist since I was a teenager in one way or another and I started working in not for profits a few years back and fell in love with the work and even started my own with my ex-partner in Indianapolis (The Never Alone Project.) from a grassroots organization to a multi-grant funded, citywide non-profit in Indianapolis that served thousands of participants and saved thousands of lives with Naloxone. I was at one point in my life a homeless drug user as a teenager and into early adulthood i struggled so through my own lived experience I have found my passion and seek to continue my work.
