Active in School and Church Choir
PHS
Pikeville, KY
08.2020 - 05.2024
Since and early age, I have been very active in my school's choir program and my churches worship band and choir.
With high school choir, that experience taught me how to work with others and blend as a group. It also was taught by my amazing voice teacher Barbara Kelley, who has taught me almost everything I know and love about music.
I am also very active in church and have brought that with me to Lexington as I am a scholarship singer at MAxwell Street Presbyterian Church
All State Musician
KMEA
Louisville , KY
02.2016 - 02.2024
I have been an All-State Vocalist for eight years, and I have made it every time I tried out from 5th grade until senior year.
During my junior and senior years at All-State, I was a soloist.
Being in these choirs and working with such talented instructors as Dr. Redding and many others have shaped me into the vocalist I am today.
Governers School for the Arts
GSA
Lexington, KY
06.2023 - 07.2023
In 2023, I was accepted into the Governors School for the Arts program with a focus in Vocal Music.
I got the opportunity to work under some of the most talented musicians and vocalists that I had ever met, such as Dr. A.T., Dr. Benningfield, and Ms. Jessica Bayne.
In these three weeks, I was pushed to my limits vocally and mentally. But it was the most rewarding experience and I'm so thankful for the connections and knowledge that I gained from GSA
