Jaylen Steele

Washington,DC

Summary

My name is Jaylen and I’m greatly known for being a very loving, kind, energetic and attentive nanny.

I chose this lovely career or mine because I truly have a passion for working with children of all ages and contributing to their happiness, growth and development while creating and maintaining beautiful lasting bonds. I literally have a front row seat to watch a child blossom into their own uniquely beautiful person and get to be apart of that journey. I love it.

My experience started with helping my single mother care for my younger siblings, she’s always said I’ve had a gift for it and from then on I went from watching her friends children, to being a certified babysitter in my teens and eventually becoming a daycare assistant teacher, after school teacher, solo lead teacher at a Christian school for a class of nine pre-k students, and eventually went on to be a nanny.

I have 5+ years of experience caring for ages newborn-10 years old. CPR + first aid certified. I love being very active with the children I care for, from story time, arts & crafts, super fun indoor learning activities, nice walks, playgrounds or outside activities via parent approval to children’s museums, aquariums, pet farms, picnics etc. I’m very comfortable with transiting to activities, pick up and drop off, light housekeeping, meal prepping, laundry, date nights and more.
