Attentive and compassionate Corpsman with calm and organized approach to emergency response needs. Facilitates field triage and critical interventions to address severe injury and illness. Established care plan and carries out in-field care to stabilize patients for transport. As a corpsman, I have done a multitude a jobs. Starting off as Fleet Marine Force corpsman, I was trained to perform medical care under high pressure while learning all the weapon systems that my marines had utilize in case I had to take up arms. I was senior line which had me in charge of the Corpsman in my company. I've done two deployments to the Middle East, one with 2nd Battalion 7th Marines and 1st Battalion 7th Marines. I was part of a COVID response team during the outbreak while doing medical care in my clinic. I have worked in a variety of departments where I've held a leadership position that dealt with immunizations, patient care, medical records, medical supply, x-ray, lab specimens, admin, physical therapy, programs such as Exceptional Family Member Program while working collateral duties such as key custodian, medical equipment, facility orders, and Tactical Combat Casualty Care Instructor. I'm forever grateful for the time and experiences that the military has provided me. From being able to assist in patient needs to communicating with others, I'm eager to further develop my skills in patient care and be a collaborator in team-oriented task that allow us to complete our objective while maintaining motivation to accomplish mutually held goals.
