As a Nuclear Support Team Admin at Huntington Ingalls Industries, I leveraged technical troubleshooting and team management skills to enhance safety and efficiency, notably leading the Safety Task Team for CVN 74.
I am equipped with strong problem-solving abilities, willingness to learn, and a drive for effective communication skills. Working at NNS have molded me to team success to achieve positive results. I am ready to tackle new challenges and advance organizational objectives with dedication and enthusiasm.
Here at the Newport News shipyard, pipes are fitted using different materials and tools. I packaged and handle materials as well to make sure they are being placed in the proper location.
Later on, I became a safety lead for the Safety Task Team of CVN 74 while still working as a pipefitter. My job is to incorporate safety meetings, inspections, and help create a timeline for the year to help CVN 74 become a more safe sufficient workplace. During this process, I have received my camera access badge and have a company issued device.
I currently work as an Nuclear Support Team admin. I am responsible to check over TWD'S for any errors that foreman's may have overlooked. I also create RDR's and make sure they have been answered before the due date given. It is my responsibility to conduct Nuclear Safety Task Team meetings, find a solution to fix discrepancies, and keep track of the Nuclear team progress.
At IBEX, I worked as a technical support advisor and eventually I became a senior advisor. I helped customers with devices, making appointments, and answered questions regarding software. I also took over calls when representatives needed help guiding the customer in the right direction.
My duty at NNS was to wrap pipes with material efficiently and proactively. The purpose of this job was to ensure pipes wouldn’t get damaged while sandblasting in process.
