Assist with banking, activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, toileting, cooking, transportation, safety, emotional and physical support. Record and maintain patient information, such as vital signs, eating habits, behavior, progress notes, treatments, or discharge plans.

• Record vital statistics or other health information. Maintain medical records.

Listen and provide emotional support and encouragement to psychiatric patients.

• Encourage patients during therapeutic activities.

Complete physical checks and monitor patients to detect unusual or harmful behavior and report observations to professional staff.

• Monitor patients to detect health problems. Assess physical conditions of patients to aid in diagnosis or treatment. Follow through with dietary needs.

Restrain or aid patients as necessary to prevent injury.

• Hold patients to ensure proper positioning or safety.
• Confer with other professionals to plan patient care.

Perform nursing duties, such as administering medications, measuring vital signs, collecting specimens

Accompany patients to and from wards for medical or dental treatments, shopping trips, or religious or recreational events.

Accompany patients or clients on outings to provide assistance.

• I was a youth advocate at a program called Project WHAT, a subsidiary of Community Works that helped improve policies surrounding children of incarcerated parents here in California with accomplishments such as our OYAC grant which allowed project WHAT to educate and train police officers on how to operate when children are present
• We travel around educating others on the experiences of children of incarcerated parents and how they could do their part to assuage those children's experiences

• Throughout my time at raising canes I worked as a crew member handling various tasks such as preparing food and drinks, checking the quality of food going out of our kitchen, cleaning the entire building daily and handling various issues that would come at us from customers regarding their orders or any technical issues that would arise either on their or our side
• While trying to ensure the best quality of service we would also work at a very fast pace and communicating throughout each position effectively as our location often had an absurd amount of customers in our lines at one time requiring a certain level of coordination between the crew
