• Responsible for purchasing goods and services.
• Developing Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs),
• Tracking savings vs cost, control and monitor expenses against approved budgets for the total of seven million.
• Payment terms negotiation, optimization, and management:
Benchmark the market and look at various offers/bids from different suppliers.
•Negotiate prices reduction with suppliers in order to optimize the costs and expenses.
• Discuss payment terms with suppliers. (Payment shouldn't be 100% in advance, it should be 100% after delivery/completion or in some cases 20% in advance and the rest after delivery/completion)
• Maintain and renew contracts with vendors (related to the Maintenance for the Technical, Operation and IT):
• Technical Department: Contracts related to the Generators (Spare parts).
• Operation Team: Contracts related to Hygiene and Stationery.
• IT Department: Contracts related to the Software.
Review and update inventory as required for the Operation Team such as Stationery, Hygiene, and IT equipment.
• Data entry for 60-80 invoices per week on JD Edwards.
• Coordinate with accounting department in order to release payments.
• Negotiating with suppliers (for the repetitive requests or basics requests such as hygiene or stationery) about the purchased goods for the company.
