Vidacare now Teleflex is a was a cutting edge company focusing on vascular access in the critically ill pediatric and adult patient population. Prior to the EZ-IO System, Intraosseous needles were placed manually by providers and often led to extravasation of the IO site. The EZ-IO System uses a drill to perfectly place IO access. I assisted with launching this product in a 10 state area in the Midwest and was the first Manager to achieve over $1 Million dollars in sales of a disposable $99.00 needle. I was able to speak clinically to providers, honing educational sales practices in order to launch and gain 75% market share in EMS and 50% market share in hospitals within my territory by year 5 of EZ-IO launch.
