Graduated with a of Bachelor of Arts degree and went on the to complete my law Enforcement certificate from the state of Florida in 1995 and continued to help my Granddad and dad run what is today a 4th generation commercial citrus nursery operation, and one of the oldest citrus nursery in the state of Florida on record. Currently looking for new ways to keep our farm lands farming, due to the citrus greening disease / (HLB). Due to citrus greening, I'm still working in law enforcement in order to off set my losses. At the same time I'm a board of director for the holding company, "ROCI Group, LLC" for the non-profit company, Biotech Applied Research 501c(3).
Run and over see two Commercial Green Houses with roughly 10,000 trees per house at full capacity.
Coordinated with supervisor daily and instruct needs based on intel provided.
Communicate with commercial farmers for their citrus trees needs.
Manage roughly 75 areas of citrus groves in Avon Park Florida.
Keep books and run pay role and pay bills monthly
Coordinated with the supervisor things to do daily, weekly and project to complete monthly.
Currently volunteer as a active member and past president of the Highlands County Farm Bureau board and have served on the state citrus advisory board for over ten years.
As a member of the Farm Bureau Federation board we support and work with local, state and federal agencies among other groups like; Future Farmers of America (FFA) 4H Club and Young Farmers and Ranchers (YF&R).
We have three classes weekly, one on Wednesday night, then one Thursday morning and a Campfire Ministry on Thursday night. Monthly we meet with other church groups to unify our belief in Christ our Lord and Savior.
