I have had a lifelong dream of becoming a commercial pilot. While looking for a college to attend, I wanted to join a university with a solid commercial aviation track that would offer a restricted ATP program. I walked into the Commercial Aviation program at Angelo State Univeristy with zero flight experience and an abundance of expectations. My flight time has been primarily in Diamond DV20 aircraft, and soon I will be transitioning to the Diamond DA40 and Diamond DA42 Twin Star as I go along in my commercial training. In addition to my time in various Diamond aircraft, I have had the opportunity to fly with associates in aircraft such as a Cessna 150 and Grumman Tiger to expand my knowledge and gain more experience.
It is my goal to become a member of the PSA Cadet Program to expand my knowledge to learn the intricacies of Commerical Aviation. I have had the pleasure of flying on the PSA CRJ several times, and I have been thoroughly impressed with the pilots and crew members each time. It is my aspiration to pilot the CRJ or other regional aircraft for PSA.
If given the opportunity for the Cadet Program, I will be able to grow and learn more from mentors and other professionals at the company. It has been a long-standing goal of mine to fly for PSA Airlines, as positive reviews and an astounding reputation precedes the company.
