• Client Consultation: Assessing business needs and recommending appropriate workers' compensation coverage.
• Policy Sales & Renewals: Selling new policies, processing renewals, and ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Risk Assessment: Evaluating workplace risks and advising clients on safety measures to reduce claims.
• Claims Assistance: Guiding clients through the claims process and liaising with insurance carriers.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring policies adhere to state and federal workers' compensation laws.
• Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurance providers.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides technical support to Underwriting & Business Development; specifically in analyzing client needs, coverage forms.
• Completes submissions in coordination with Underwriting; submits applications to eligible and appropriate carriers; follows up to ensure timely receipt of quotations.
• Orders and issues binders, certificates, policies, endorsements and other related items; verifies their accuracy; forwards them to agent with appropriate documentation.
• Determines if direct or agency billing is appropriate and invoices

• Reviews audits of policies; verifies accuracy and facilitates corrections, as needed, between agent.
• Verifies policy and policy change information, facilitating corrections when processes incoming requests, responding promptly and appropriately.
• Uses agency credit and collection policy in invoicing; pursuing prompt payments; request cancellations from the carrier according to agency.
• Determines reasons for requests for cancellations; acts to save accounts.
• Processes and following up on cancellation requests to carriers to ensure accurate and timely resolution;
• Assists agents/clients in submitting first reports of claims, facilitates prompt response from carrier staff and follows up on claims status, according to agency
