• Ensures Company and program standards are established, implemented and consistently practiced; reviews and evaluates services provided within the assigned company to promote quality of care including maintaining appropriate licensing and compliance requirements.
• Develops new program policies, procedures, quality assurance tactics and service delivery systems that protect and promote the health, safety, and overall well-being of clients.
• Assures solid financial position of Company: develops annual and new program budgets with input from Operations personnel in cooperation with the Company Finance Department; manages to budget and holds leaders accountable to the same; reviews financial reports and oversees corrective action to address negative variances; develops proposals and negotiates contracts and rates for assigned company.
• Provides leadership and direction for new business opportunities and development projects to ensure Company goals and objectives will be met; monitors industry trends and maintain awareness of federal, state, and county initiatives that impact business sustainability and growth.
• Provides leadership regarding Company needs and growth opportunities to improve service and performance, facilitates collaboration with Directors/Managers to develop plans for growth, services and care; develops and executes the strategic plan, evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of the organizational structure and prepares recommendations for executive review.
• Monitors recruitment, retention and other business metrics; identifies and implements strategies and tactics to address areas of concern; partners with Company and corporate Human Resources on matters related to performance and accountability, compensation, benefits, etc.
• Develops and maintains collaborative relationships within and between all departments, company/regional and Company leadership, and individuals within the community.

• Provides leadership related to the development, promotion, and maintenance of a therapeutic environment.
• Sets and supports high expectations of Case Coordinators and Therapists in line with agency philosophy.
• Oversees program related services to ensure best practice, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Develops and maintains all policies and procedures in consultation with other program areas and Leadership members.
• Ensures compliance with state licensing and COA standards.
• Active leader in organization re-structure and continuous improvement.
• Oversees the Records and Administrative Assistants.
• Participates in agency initiatives including Outcome Measurement, Family Engagement, and Strategic Learning.
• Member of the WAFCA Outcome Benchmarking project.

• Created and implemented statewide Best Practices for residential settings.
• Responsible for the programmatic and operational aspects of 36 residential programs for people with disabilities.
• Ensured compliance with state licensing and COA standards.
• Fostered and maintained positive working relationships with funding sources, including rate negotiations and challenges with service delivery.
• Led the organization in the exploration and implementation of alternative service provision models to improve fiscal position and promote client self-direction.
  

• Provided direct supervision to professional level Case Coordinators who supported approximately 200 adults with developmental disabilities.
• Developed case management polices and procedures compliant with WI regulations and CARF standards.
• Served as the Chair of the Records Committee. Active leader of the Human Rights Committee, Quality Improvement initiatives, Outcome Measurement process, Marketing, Strategic Planning, and Holistic Aging.
• Led investigations related to critical incidents and prepared reports for licensing entities.
• Coordinated psychiatric care, consultations, and medication reviews.

• Engaged in grant writing, fundraising, and membership support at the NAMI state office.
• Supported 34 affiliate sites throughout the state to enhance their technical, fiscal, and advocacy efforts for people with mental illness.
• Represented NAMI WI at conferences, conventions, and community events.
• Served on various workgroups, including: Minority Inclusion, Elder Mental Illness Awareness, and Anti-Stigma Campaign.
