  • As general manager of the diploma certificate and grad announcement production operations for the Scholastic Division of Jostens, I lead a team of 4 supervisors and 100 employees
  • Fostered a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging open door communication between all team members and regularly soliciting feedback on operational performance.
  • Increased overall productivity by identifying bottlenecks in the production process and proposed effective solutions to maintain adherence to productivity goals.
  • Oversaw quality control efforts, maintaining strict conformity to industry standards while achieving high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Analyzed sales and production performance metrics to accurately forecast unit plans for both business units and used those analytics to set materials budgets in excess of $1M and labor spend exceeding $3M annually.

  • Communication of production ramp down/up with customer service to direct production to either facility to ensure deliveries went out as requested

  • I had responsibility for the setting and execution of the production plan
  • Interfacing with the college and high school customer service teams to insure timely delivery of quality books for graduation ceremonies
  • In addition to these added responsibilities, I was still responsible for materials purchasing as well as oversight of the offsite warehouse and plant logistics as detailed in the position listed below.
