Public Services Librarian

  • Maintain supervision of library desk and support staff as well as student workers. Was responsible for growing student worker into permanent library employee.
  • Created and gained funding for a very successful mural project within the library and the creation of a meditation center for the entire Wake Tech community. Both projects raised the profile of the library within Wake Tech as well as the larger community.
  • Created and maintained Wake Tech Archive collection. Presented archival objects at college functions and as requested by alumni.
  • Conduct general library responsibilities including research, collection development, and instruction in use of library collection.
