T700 Turboshaft Engine Test Cell Operator

  • Conduct systems testing and performance evaluation of General Electric T700 gas turbine engines using Shaft Engine Test Instrumentation (SETI) software and equipment.
  • Supervised & mentored a work center of six Marines responsible for the timely testing of T700 gas turbine engines utilized by UH-1/AH-1 aircraft platforms.
  • Conducted quality assurance and accuracy screening of all engine maintenance documentation to establish a “ready-for-test” status and ensure safety of all personnel during testing.
  • Conducted required periodic and incidental maintenance on dynamometer, SETI systems and test facilities to ensure accuracy of engine test results and safety of all personnel.
  • Assisted subordinates with earning all qualifications as test cell operators.

  • Operated as an in-shop Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDQAR) responsible for inspecting and recording all critical steps of engine disassembly, component inspections and reassembly processes, and ensuring all maintenance performed is in accordance with applicable manuals and the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP).
  • Provided on-wing troubleshooting and repair support to operational-level H-1 squadrons to mitigate the need for engine replacement when possible.
