• Addresses increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patient and families in accordance with their level of practice
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team to quickly assess patients and deliver appropriate treatment while managing rapidly changing conditions.
• Administers medications, blood products and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness of treatment prescribed
• Perform Advance Cardiovascular Life Support
• Assess learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or care givers; identify issues and resources
