I have over thirty-years of total law enforcement experience. Seventeen of those years include leadership experience as a direct supervisor and manager, at the rank of sergeant and lieutenant. I am currently in command of daily operations as a Patrol Watch Commander. Prior to my current assignment, I oversaw the Internal Affairs Unit, directly supervising internal investigations regarding alleged employee misconduct. Previously I was in Command of a Patrol Area where I planned, directed, managed and oversaw operations of the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office. I possess and continually demonstrate strong organizational and administrative skills. I have expertise in managing and authoring multiple grants, including managing multi-million dollars of grant funding and reporting statistical information to state and federal governments. I have eight years’ experience managing a multi-agency task force which included federal, state, and local law enforcement. I have extensive experience investigating, managing, and supervising complex officer involved shootings, death, crimes against persons and crimes against children.
