MBO President's Kaizen - Team modified MBO station 135 to improve overall ergonomics and productivity across our spiral value stream part families. Team eliminated 33 out of 37 high risk tasks from the department while improving overall productivity by 51% leading to an overall P&L impact of $404K annually.
Completed stretch assignment in the Batesville facility where I helped develop Hourly leads, reduce backlog, implemented visual systems, built production trackers, and started TIBs and LPAs.
Braider 53 Kaizen – Team converted line driven braider to servo driven, achieving 15% increase in line speed and combined wrapping process inline, achieving 34% UPLH increase. Result was $60K in annual savings.
