  • As Team leader I am responsible for all personnel and equipment to be functioning properly at all times
  • I am responsible for paper machines 411 and 412 along with winders 522,528,529 and 531, along with the order processing department
  • My area covers approximately 65 employees
  • My responsibilities include, but are not limited to, pay roll and scheduling of all said departments, any problems the employee may have pertaining to their machine or their schedule, I would be the first point of contact for them
  • I am responsible for tracking and optimizing the utilization of each machine along with diagnosing any problems and creating a solution to said problems
  • I am responsible for keeping all employees up to date with all PPE requirements and adhering to said requirements
  • I participate on R.O.I teams, Lean management and 6s teams.
  • Coordinated team activities and delegated tasks to ensure efficient completion of projects.
  • Developed strategies for problem solving and conflict resolution among team members.

WLPM 412 Machine Tender

  • The Machine Tender position was responsible for everything on this production line
  • This is including, but not limited to, scheduling, diagnostics and repair of the line
  • Constant education on paper making and mechanical education was a must
  • And the ability to share knowledge with back tenders and anyone else who might benefit from this newly learned education was crucial in the increased OEE.
  • Set up and adjust machines for production runs.
  • Performed minor maintenance on machines, such as oiling and cleaning.
  • Monitored machine operations to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining.
  • Adjusted machine settings to complete tasks accurately.

BackTender WLPM 412

  • 412 back tender was responsible for The Entirety of the paper machine during down time and normal operations
  • This included diagnostics and repairs of mechanical operational equipment
  • Along with normal cleaning and production duties, this position enabled me to train as machine tender during times the machine is running smoothly.

  • The 412 Utility position was responsible for whatever was asked of them
  • This was including, but not limited to, assisting Pulper operator with filtering and staging of raw materials
  • Making all chemical mixes, as well as figuring out end of run quantities
  • Along with assisting back tender with cleaning and repairing 412 PM during downs
  • They were also responsible for vacation coverage as well as on call coverage.
  • Adjusted valve settings to regulate water flow according to established procedures.
  • Conducted tests on water samples in order to determine chemical composition levels.
