Performs facility inspections, oversees clients and staff requirements, oversees animal protocols and is responsible for entering data into excel sheets and databases.

Facilitates preparation, review and approval of IACUC (Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee) submissions from research and assists with completion of semiannual facility inspections and program review. Oversees the animal care and use program at institutions using animal in research in order to ensure the humane and ethical treatment of animals.

• Monitored health and behavior of animals by looking for urine and fecal output, completing weight checks and observing appetite during feeding.
• Cleaned and disinfected exam areas, equipment and kennels to prevent spread of disease, control odors and maintain healthy environment.
