My husband and I have fostered 4 children, 2 of whom we adopted.
We have attended many hours of training in how to love children from hard places. Much of the training had to do with attachment, connection, and learning how to respond to the needs of children who have faced trauma.
I have built relationship with the biological mothers of our foster children when possible. I enjoy friendships with these women who have experienced so much trauma of their own.
My husband and I are doing our best, with God's help, to build a beautiful life with our two living children. We feel so blessed to have them in our lives.

I wrote the book "Life is a Gift" about our journey with our three medically fragile daughters. It was published in 2011 and around 12,000 copies have been sold.
I have spoken at numerous womens' events around the country. I enjoy speaking about God's truth in ways that women can understand and relate. I speak from my own story and experiences and love to reach the hearts of women. My passion is to see women living in the identity as daughters of the King, and living in wholeness and healing.
