•Conducted research on stream restoration techniques and designs to advise DOEE’s (D.C’s Department of Energy and Environment) Oxon Run Stream restoration project.

•Collaborated with DOEE’s government officials in team meetings to gauge project implementation.

•Conducted human health and ecological impact assessments.

•Crafted a policy memorandum and delivered company presentations to advise Nature Forward on potential project hazards.

•Aided in DC’s Ward 8 Water Watchers community engagement events to educate youth and surrounding community on stream and environmental health.

•Contacted community stakeholders to collaborate with Ward 8 Water Watchers events.

•Wrote and delivered a verbal testimony at public hearing in Leesburg, Virginia to support “Loudoun’s Resiliency and Sustainability resolution for all to thrive in Loudoun County”.

• Crafted and delivered proposal for Nature Forward to implement a slave honorary memorial on site, which is currently in progress.

• Adapted to living and working in Subtropical Rainforest environment with little to no access to technology.

• Excavated archaeological sub-op units for artifacts proving existence of a Maya Marketplace system.

•Took detailed notes on new excavation units to contribute to prior research.

•Collected data and artifacts ranging from ceramic pottery pieces to stone lithic tools.

•Identified rocks found in excavation sites and determined its nativity to the region.

•Sketched, measured, and profiled rock depths in different soil layers.

•Took and analyzed soil samples for evidence of micro-botanicals in soil.

•Cleaned, examined, and classified artifacts in the field laboratory.
