Devoted, passionate, patient, and creative Band Director with eight years of public school teaching experience in varying levels of concert bands, marching band, jazz band, pep-band, life-skills music, working with visually impaired students, and teaching group lessons on all band instruments to students in grades 5-12. The goal is excellence through the application of student centered learning, technology, culturally responsive teaching, and experiential learning. Utilizing music as the focus and guide allows students to find their musical voice through the roles of performers, composers, historians, theorists, and more to become lifelong music learners.
