  • ENGR 131: Introduction to Engineering Design Curriculum, Upcycling and the Circular Economy in Engineering Design, MEM project, wrote and executed curriculum to introduce upcycling and the circular economy to freshman engineering students at WCU.
  • A Roadmap for Economic Upcycling in Rural Colorado, MEM project aiming to create a plastics upcycling network and makers space for the Gunnison Valley.
  • Elsewhere Studios Artists Residency, Took part in a month long artists residency in Paonia CO. Created a body of work through the medium of thrown ceramics art. Entitled Plates for the People it encompassed the importance of healthy food and shelter in grounding us as humans.
  • Habitat for Humanity of Gunnison Valley LCA, Modeled the energy savings and positive health and well-being impacts of natural built, energy efficient homes.

  • Humboldt Green & 1 Degree Consulting Volunteer, Arcata, CA, Helped provide governments, businesses, and the general public find ways to effectively lower their environmental impact through the Cannabis Carbon Accounting Model LCA. Brainstormed with Humboldt Green, respected local community organizers, to acquire information about the indoor Cannabis industry. Collaborated with 1 Degree Consulting to connect with the community of Cultivators in a time where there is not yet clear data collection, laws, and usage boundaries.
  • Humboldt Permaculture Guild Volunteer, Arcata, CA, Volunteer for Annual Fruit Tree Scion Exchange and Annual Seed Exchange. Assisted organizations grant writer in acquiring seed donations, as well as rounding up the community to donate for the raffle for the 17th Annual Seed and Plant Exchange. Staffed volunteers for events.
  • Guest Speaker & Workshop Facilitator for HeART and SOULstice Gathering, Angels Camp, CA, Provided festival attendees with Permaculture Workshops on Companion Planting and Feeding Your Garden (nutrient applications).
