JENNA ROBINSON, ATC

I have been working with the department chief of hand and wrist surgery in order to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes. Experience includes:

• Providing support and expertise to each patient who enters the clinic.
• Informing surgical patients on consents and proper pre-admission testing while ordering and reviewing the lab/test results required for each procedure.
• Contacting appropriate reps for surgical equipment required for each case.
• Managing and evaluating the postoperative schedule, providing suture removal, and wound care.
• Biweekly leadership cohort meetings.

Responsible for day-to-day office tasks, along with greeting and rooming all patients, while obtaining a full history and evaluation of the injury. Presenting the findings to the physician and ordering appropriate imaging referrals. Assisted in PRP and other ultrasound-guided injections after obtaining the corresponding authorizations.

Primarily traveled with men's soccer and women's lacrosse teams. Responsible for the treatment, rehabilitation, and evaluation of athletic injuries. Communicating with both team physicians and coaches regarding injuries, daily treatment plans, and recovery, while coordinating appointments for student athletes. Assisted with NCAA and institutional drug testing. Acted as a clinical supervisor and preceptor for Thomas Jefferson University student athletic trainers.
