Working with an organization to share 15+ years of experience of a detail orientated records management professional in fast-paced environments that demand organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills, as well as a thorough understanding of medical records management policies and procedures.
· Basic data entry and word processing skills.
· Answering incoming telephone calls and forwarding them to the appropriate personnel.
· Preparing and maintaining appointments for all providers.
· Clerical, receptionist, and customer service experience.
· Taking appropriate payments from patients and adding it into the charts, also completing the data entry of payments received.
· Obtaining insurance information and adding and verifying the insurance information in patient’s charts on a daily basis.
· Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters
· Multi-tasking at all times.
· Registering patients, ensuring all forms are filled out correctly and accurately, updating their information with address and phone number changes.
· Provide quality services for all internal and external customers with any problem-solving issues in a timely matter.
· Working with different programs such as Dentrix, OnBase, Athena, Power 8, Lighthouse, Microsoft Teams and all other insurance websites.
· Coordinating appointments with other dental offices for patients.
