Vital signs, I&O, moving & turning patients. Documents on the computer. Answering call bells, stocking supplies, cleaning equipment. Sets up the OR for a cesarean section, scrubs the case and resets/stocks it after the case is finished. Opens delivery tables for vaginal delivery and breaks them down after. Newborn hearing screens. Assists parents with diapering & feedings. Helps new moms with showering and peri care. Removal or saline and foley catheters. Daily temperature checks as well as equipment checks. I do all the ordering for the labor and delivery unit. Assist with circumcisions. Does outdates on stock/supplies. Stands in on deliveries as a support person for the patient/Dr/RN
