Volunteers at Designed For Joy assist in various ways. This is including retail support, production tasks, event assistance, and administrative tasks. They help in the retail shop by merchandising, assisting customers, and keeping the space tidy. In the production department, they may help with tasks like trimming, tagging, and finishing work. Volunteers also support events, whether in-person or virtual, and contribute to fundraising efforts. Some volunteers also offer administrative support or help with tasks like making lunch for artisans.

Habitat for Humanity ReStore volunteers engage in a variety of tasks that support the store's operations and contribute to its mission of providing affordable housing. These tasks include customer service, donation processing, merchandising, and general store maintenance.

At the Women's Center, interns are involved in a variety of tasks that support the center's mission and contribute to its programs and services.
