Helping first-generation and/or economically disadvantaged college students navigate the college process. My job is to help them with filing for FAFSA, searching for colleges, financial literacy, and applying for scholarships.

Completed intake assessments and processed clients for General Assistance (rent, utilities, and food). I wrote case notes on each client and assigned them to community work or adult education. I collaborated with the internal team and external agencies to ensure clients received comprehensive support. I attended Township Officials of Illinois Conference in Springfield once a year to stay informed and updated on changes in General Assistance.
