Assist doctor's in breast biopsies, by setting up biopsy trays and getting tools ready for the doctor to use.

Bring patient back to the waiting area and take vital signs and make them as comfortable as possible, while they wait for their biopsy to begin.

During the procedure I make sure to talk with patient and give them my hand while the biopsy is being performed. I am their support person during this difficult time.

After the biopsy is complete I collect the samples and make sure they go into the correct specimen container.

Recruiting, was a crucial part of my position as well. My role in the recruiting process was to attend job fairs and come up with new innovative ways to recruit new talent. This part of my position involved full cycle recruitment. I was in charge of onboarding all new employees.


Benefit distribution and record keeping was also my responsibility. I maintained a record of when new employees became eligible for benefits, typically after 3 months of service. I worked closely with our broker to ensure benefits were issued accordingly.


Employee relations was a crucial part of this position, I handled all employee investigations when complaints were made. I worked hand in hand with the director's to ensure proper disciplinary actions were aligned with the law.


I also oversaw all workman's comp claims, short and long term disability along with FMLA.
