Summary

Freelance journalist with a record of producing high-quality and engaging content for news outlets across Bay Area publications.

As a journalist, I heard the rhetoric that our job is to give a voice to the 'voiceless.' However, I view our profession as an outlet where we can engage with our community and authentically connect with them. These moments are important since it can facilitate expressions of ideas, struggles and possible solutions.

My end goal with journalism and even stepping outside of the newsroom is to serve my community as a watchdog, as an advocate and as a servant to hopefully provide people with information in hopes of a better tomorrow.
