As an ordinary employee, my primary duty involved procuring medical records from doctor's offices on behalf of insurance companies.
Within just one year of starting my job, I was promoted to the position of "regular" supervisor, overseeing a team of 12-14 employees.
Four years later, I received another promotion to the role of Internal Supervisor, which was the highest-paid supervisory position managing a team.
This new team was established for handling specialized internal cases, distinct from the regular teams. It was tasked with managing the more complex cases, including those involving military personnel.
The team comprised employees from both within the United States and internationally.
I successfully advocated for pay raises for 50% of my team members.
I ensured that team members completed their daily tasks, which included making necessary calls to facilities, updating statuses accurately, and obtaining records promptly.
I conducted monthly performance reviews for all team members and provided constructive feedback.
I became the go-to supervisor for covering shifts when other supervisors were absent, making me the number one choice for such occasions.
