Within the military, I was able to train and complete the military first Aid program, which allowed me to get my certification in Combat Life Saver. The training consisted of 40 hours theory and practical instruction for applying the proper technique for intravenous injection, treating tension pneumothorax, identifying respiratory failure and how to treat, treating sunken chest wounds, treating external hemorrhages, and treating arterial hemorrhage.
