  • As a Medical Assistant, I am responsible for rooming patients for the provider I am working with that day. I take the vitals of each patient and ensure all the information in the health record is accurate and up to date. I draw blood when needed, clean and stock exam rooms throughout the day as well as at the end of the day and week. I translate for spanish speaking patients when needed, cover other clinics, triage patients and prepare charts for the following day. Answering phone calls and obtaining information as requested by the doctor and/or patient. Provide patient education and resources as directed.
  • As a Supervisor, I was in charge of managing weekly time sheets as well as ensuring schedules were done and fit the clinic’s needs. Monitoring employees, the facility, and the patients.Customer serviced upset and angry patients. Reported to my boss and communicated what was working and what was not, along with what was happening in day to day clinic life.
