- Work with app/dev/change management to schedule maintenance window and right-sized over 3000 virtual servers for optimal hardware utilization without outage or issue using 4 different data sources for historical utilization to include burst traffic.
- Deployed multiple vcenters across the different environments to get all of the data center traffic, remote sites, and dr/colo separated and under different single panes of glass for management.
- Worked with vendors and Fortinet to bid/configure and deploy Fortinet switches to all remote sites to match with the other network hardware from end to end.
- Speced, proposed and got approved the concept of “office in a box” for hardware refreshes on a lease instead of Capex to expedite the deployment and refresh of remote offices, standardized equipment and made sure all hardware and software was under maintenance.
